To make matters worse, the stranger remembers nothing… Meanwhile, a group of four young people—Blai, Mireia, Pol, and Roser—are playing the game “Never Have I Ever.” Little by little, they reveal an event that left a lasting mark on their lives…
Never Have I Ever is a suspenseful play that explores themes of memory, secrets, and hidden mistakes.
CURIOSITIES
- The story came to me after I read a real news report about Andreas Grassl, a young pianist who appeared on a beach in England in 2005, suffering from amnesia.
- The ending is open to various interpretations. Then again, if you assume the worst, you’ll likely be right.
- The play is designed to be performed by teenagers. There are seven characters in total. As for props, all that is needed is a piano, a bottle, and a jerrycan of gasoline.
