CURIOSITIES
- I began the novel in Iceland during a solo trip around the island in a camper van. I would travel during the day and write for a while each evening.
- All the locations are real and were places I visited during my trip, including the abandoned passenger plane on the beach.
- I took an excursion to the port town of Húsavík and managed to spot whales from a boat, though they only revealed their backs or tails.
